Sam
Sam Uley is one of the Quileute Native Americans on the La Push reservation, near the small town of Forks. Though in Twilight, Sam has merely a cameo role, he becomes one of the main characters in the sequel, New Moon.
Sam Uley, a Quileute werewolf. Born in 1986 in La Push, Washington. Sam is described as tall, with black hair and brown eyes. In wolf form Sam has black fur and is described as being as tall as a horse but more muscular with dagger like incisors. As leader of the Quileute wolf pack and fiancé to Emily Young, Sam is dedicated to protecting his tribe from the threat of the "Cold Ones".
Sam was the first in this generation to become a werewolf , a change that occurred because the Cullen family moved back to Forks. Sam left behind all dreams for the future including a college scholarship to stay on the reservation and become its protector. The first time he met Bella he alluded to the Cullens not being welcome at First Beach. A statement that was later clarified by Jacob Black (played by Taylor Lautner).
As the danger surrounding the reservation grows and more of the youth become wolves, Sam helped them each accept and adapt to their new lives as protectors of the tribe. This act solidified his role as Alpha wolf. To Bella and Jacob, it seemed as if though Sam had started a gang - or a cult.
Sam is currently engaged to Emily Young (cousin to Leah Clearwater). The scars etched across Emily's face and body are the direct result of being too close to Sam when we exploded into wolf form. This injury, some would say deeply scarred Sam's soul as much if not more than it did Emily's skin. He lives each day for her, showering her with love and adoration.

Jacob
Jacob Black is of the Quileute Tribe of Native Americans in La Push, Washington. His father is Billy Black. His mother is said to have died in a car accident. The tribal stories state the Quileutes are decendent from wolves. Jacob is a mechanical person and over the couse of the series builds a Voltswagon Rabbit and two motorcycles.
Jacob meets Bella Swan on La Push beach. Bella feigns interest in Jacob to hear the history of the Cold Ones and the Cullen family. Jacob becomes infatuated with Bella who later begins to date Edward Cullen. When Edward breaks up with her, Bella asks Jacob to build her a motorcycle. Over the course of their time together, Jacobs interest in Bella grows.Shortly after this, Jacob "phases" into a werewolf. The Quileute werewolves sole purpose is to protect the people of La Push from vampires. Jacob protects Bella from multiple dangers over the course of New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn.
Once Jacob learns of Bella and Edward's marriage plans he disappears into the Canadian wilderness in wolf form, returning only to see Bella on her wedding day. When Jacob discovers Bella is pregnant with a half-human half-vampire, he forms his own wolf pack (along with Leah and Seth Clearwater) to protect the Cullens from Sam. Once the baby (Renesmee) is born, Jacob imprints on her. Werewolves imprint on their mates. It is far more that soul mates. It is doing anything, being anything for that person. Jacob then becomes the equivilant to Bella and Edward's son-in-law.

Seth
Seth is Harry and Sue Clearwater`s son. Seth has one older sister called Leah, they both became werewolves in Eclipse. Seth fought alongside Edward when Victoria and her companion Riley sprung a surprise attack on him and Bella. Edward fought Victoria and Seth fought Riley. Seth won the fight.
In Breaking Dawn he joins Jacob`s new wolf pack with Leah. He never imprints as far as the books go; he always stays by Leah and Jacob.
Seth is said to have a pure and innocent mind.

Leah
Leah Clearwater is Harry and Sue Clearwater's daughter, and older sister to Seth Clearwater. She is Sam Uley's ex-girlfriend and the only known female member of the La Push changeling wolf pack. She phased into a wolf during the events of New Moon, around the same time as her brother, Seth. She also has deep unsettling issues (plus a broken heart) and is overprotective of her little brother.
Jared
Jared Cameron is a Quileute shape shifter, one of the five to imprint: he did so on a girl he sat next to in class, Kim. Since she had a massive crush on him, she was overjoyed with his returning feelings; he never paid too much attention to her previously. He was the second shape-shifter to phase, before Paul, but after the pack's leader, Sam Uley. His great-grandmother is Lorraine Huautah who is cousin to Ephraim Black. He is a distant relative of the Blacks and the Littleseas.
Embry
Embry is a teenage shapeshifter from La Push and is one of Jacob's "wingmen". He appears briefly in New Moon and Eclipse. Embry calls Bella Swan "vampire girl' because she hangs out with the Cullen's coven. His mother was not a woman from the tribe, but because the shapeshifting traits are inherited only within the tribe, he is probably the half brother of Quil Ateara, Jacob Black, or Sam Uley, which causes some stress within the pack due to the fact that all of their fathers were married before, during and after Embry's birth. Some time during his early life, Embry became friends with Quil Ateara and Jacob Black. Sometime later, Embry went through the change and became a wolf like the other boys in the La Push "gang." He was the fourth to transform, right before Jacobs, and since he couldn't tell Jacob what was happening to him, he started avoiding Jacob. Once Jacob changed, they went back to being friends. Embry remains one of Jacobs best friends though the rest of the book, in spite of the way he breaks the rules and hangs out with Bella more than he should. Embry is quieter and more shy than some of the other boys on the Reservation. He is playful, but still come across as being more reserved. As a human, Embry is described as being tall and slender, having red brown skin, long rounded muscles, cropped black hair, and brown eyes. As a wolf, he is described as having grey fur with black spots, thinner than Quil, and being swift.
Quil
A member of the wolf pack, Quil Ateara III is mentioned in passing in the first of the series, but becomes somewhat of a regular character starting in the second book. In New Moon, Quil is worried about the effect that being a wolf has had on Jacob. Unlike the other members of the pack, he was happy about becoming a wolf, due to finally having his friends back and understanding what was going on. Quil is described as having dark skin, black hair, an impish grin, a buzz cut and being tall and burly. As a wolf, he has chocolate brown fur.
Paul
Paul Lahote is a Quileuteshape-shifter. He was the third one to join the pack, by the age 16, and is the most volatile member of the pack, becoming so enraged upon learning that Jacob informed Bella about them that he turned into a wolf and attempted to kill her. He later seems to have no ill feelings towards Bella or Jacob. He is prone to angry outbursts, causing him to burst into his wolf form. He is a distant relative of the Uley family through his great-grandmother.
